A contemporary jazz band, Fishsticks blend fusion, Latin music, funk and other genres to create a unique sound. Based in Vienna, the band members come from Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary and Catalonia. The line-up includes Gaj Bostič on drums, Tjan Šoštarič on bass, Bálint Banyó on piano, Matej Novak on alto saxophone and Jordi Roviró on trumpet. Original compositions, scented with dance beats, exotic flavours and soulful melodies, take listeners on a journey into modern jazz.
