V ospredju zasedbe sta pariška jazz diva Sandra Nkaké in Karl the Voice ob izdatni spremljavi slam poezije (v živo) Allonymousa, ritmike Jeana Phija Daryja in flavtista Jîja Drûja.

A new concert attraction, Push Up (The Volume), was born in Paris: a homage paid to black music as well as soul and funk, its finest forms. The bandleaders, Paris jazz diva Sandra Nkake and Karl The Voice, make music to the accompaniment of poetry slam by Allonymous, and heavy beat by Jean Phi Dary and flutist Jî Drû. The concert features a story about a great day in the life of an ordinary person, Quincy Brown. Arriving at a culmination, the rhythmic music reaches such dizzying heights that rapturous audiences start to rip their clothes off.
With a spectacular club show, Push Up concluded last year’s Jazz Pulsations in Nancy and promise to enthral the crowds also at the final concert of the 50th Ljubljana Jazz Festival.
